Absolutely love the JLBillet Skeletor AR15 Light Weight Matched Set. I purchased this product for my first AR15 build and have no regrets at all. The lines are awesome and you can feel the quality of receivers as soon as you pick it up. Even my FFL had plenty of great comments about JLBillet's quality when they saw this set. I cannot adequately state quality and looks of this receiver set.

The nicest CNC Machining work that I've seen today this set is unbelievable it begs to be two color cerakoted giving the distressed look. Can't wait for the finished product.

Absolutely brilliantly executed, this matched set is rock solid and is really what separates the High end AR from the cheap stuff. DO NOT BUILD THIS WITH CHEAP parts, you would be insulting the artist. Oh also, the shipping was quick, and communication was what would be expected from a high end shop

Super nice set. Though to find a handgard that color matches the black anodizing. Would have bought one from JL but they didn't have an 8" flat one. Had to paint it, and very happy with how it came out. Waiting for their 308 set to come back in stock.

The Skeletor AR15 Light Weight Matched Set, Ambidextrous is far superior versus its competition.

Receiver set was received in excellent condition and packaging. Machining work is great and the fitment between the upper and lower is tight. Two things preventing it from getting 5 stars. First, their were no instructions provided for installing the proprietary bolt release/bullet button/mag lock components. There is a schematic available on the website that’s self explanatory but had to go hunting for it. Also, it took some trial and error to install some of the components so the CA compliant features were non-functional but filled the voids/holes in the receiver (I don’t live in CA and at the time of my purchase there was no option for CA-compliant vs non-CA compliant). Second, and the real reason this isn’t a 5 star review, is that the upper receiver is not compatible with the rail I’ve chosen for my build (Q honey badger 6” hand guard kit). Because there is a flare out at the end of the upper right before the barrel nut threading l, any rail that indexes on the upper such as the Q rail or a Fortis rail with indexing tabs will have interference. I’d also suspect any rail like a DD RIS II rail that has multiple hex bolts may have access issues as well. In the description, for both the Q rail and this set indicated they were mil-spec compliant. It seems that is not 100% the case due to this design feature. I’ve since had to purchase a replacement upper as this will not work with my build and they have not responded to my notification of these compatibility issues at this time.

Besides the great customer service I received when purchasing my receiver, the product is proven the superior. The finish and quality of the product is everything I hoped it to be. Look forward to finishing my build and putting this thing to work.

I bought this set for my first ground zero build. It took a little bit to get it but its ok. Look around. I was extremely impressed by the obvious attention to the creative in the cosmetics. Even Ore impressive is the hight standard of strict tolerances. This is a precision assembly in all aspects. Also, they include the little details needed for the proper assembly with no compatability issues with it her hardware. This stuff is top notch. They might be on the expe side side, but so what. Its worth every cent. They have won a dedicated customer.
