This AR-15 barrel nut is designed for JL Billet handguards, and it works with other handguards on the market as well. JL Billet rails are precision bored to a 1.375" inner diameter for an exact fit on this nut.

Installation
Torque this nut with our 1-1/8" AR-15 crows foot and a standard 3/8" drive torque wrench. Running an Adams Arms piston kit? Use the Adams Arms compatible barrel nut.

Misunderstanding of barell nut
Bought thinking I could use to switch my 308 handguard to my 223 and was unear the outer diameter was different and they would not work. Now i have a 223 barrel nut and no handguard to fit it, no option to order a new guard without the nut being apart of it.
