    .308 DPMS billet upper receiver

Machining and finish on the Upper were fabulous. However, the fit with the JOP Billet .308 Lower was not what I was expecting. I had to but a set of oversized take-down pins from JP Rifle and install an "accu-wedge" into the lower to tighten things up enough to be acceptable. Now all is good.

Ive owned over 20 different rails. When you hold this rail in your hand, you automatically know. Of all the “viper” style rails, JL is number one.

JL Billet Lower - Highest Quality

Posted by Jeff on 20th Jun 2016

Just finished Teo 308 JL lowers. They came out great. Can't believe how good they look. Had both Cerekoted and turned out really nice. One of the two was "raw" and the Cerekoter had worried the cutting swirls would show. But turned out there was no problems. These lowers are dimensionally perfect. The build is tight and everything fit perfectly with no play. The attention to detail is second to none. Will most certainly use JL lowers again.

    Precision upper

Posted by Brett on 6th Apr 2016

Just finished barrel install on this upper. I am very impressed. When lapping the receiver face there was 360 degree contact, so essentially needed no lapping. The receiver face was perpendicular to the bore already, as sign of excellent machining. Next, when installing my proof barrel tolerances were tight enough to require a thermal fitting. This is an awesome thing as there is NO wiggle or barrel movement, even without the barrel nut. Will be building more!

When you take your time, machine cleanly, and take pride in workmanship, the product is not only worth more - it IS more. This is more. Cheap cast works too. I have those. JLBillet is what you buy when you want lifetime quality.

    good match to their lower

Posted by Josh on 30th Dec 2014

Initially, the lines match much better than a standard dpms upper, but it is overall tight fitting into the lower. I suspect the tolerances don't account for the anodizing process which adds a slight thickness, observed in the lower which required sanding and drillbit reaming... I would also suggest getting the matching set at the same time so the anodizing shade matches. Mine don't, but I don't think the matching upper was available at the time I bought their lower.
