JL Billet's MBS™ (Modular Billet Stock) is a patented all aluminum modular buttstock designed to fit AR15 & AR10 Mil-Spec collapsible buffer tubes
We start with chunks of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and precision CNC machine each piece to ensure an exact fit and perfect function. The MBS™ is a modular design that allows all components of the stock to be replaced if damaged. We don't use any plastic on this stock other than the rubber base and cheek pads, this allows you to Cerakote or anodize whatever color you like to accessorize and customize to your specific needs. This Stock Comes Hard Black Anodized, Raw available upon request.
The MBS™ is skeletonized to reduce weight while maintaining strength and giving a look like nothing else on the market. Weight without a buffer tube installed is only 16 oz. It's not for the weak guys who can't handle a few extra oz. in their rifle.
**For those of you in California, the MBS can be used as fixed stock as well with the use of a longer trigger set screw**

If this item is ordered in a raw condition (raw aluminum coating option) it will be shipped disassembled. If you would like the stock assembled please leave a note on the order.

A beautiful piece , but not perfect.
The design and work are stunning . The only problem with the one I got ( just like Pic #8 ) was the finish , had scuff marks that take away from the total quality in my eyes . For that kind of money nothing short of perfect should go out the door . **We agree, if you would like to return it for a replacement we will exchange it.**

As a machinist of 35 years, the precision and attention to detail is unparalleled with this MBS stock. My .308 loves it. The best I've ever owned. Oh, and shipping was extremely fast.

I just received my JL Billet MBS today!!!! First impression of this stock is gratitude, towards JL Billet for taking the time and putting in the effort developing this stock. Solid construction, look is amazing and feel is unmatched by other stocks I've used before. I definitely would recommend this stock for your build or upgrade of current AR. if youre looking for the best this is it
After shopping for months for a buttstock that was bad ass enough to put on the rifle I built I found the MBS from JL billet . To say it's "nice" doesn't really do it justice . The one downside is that I have to stop and talk about it at the range because everyone that sees it wants to know more about it . Machining is perfect. No rattle like most others and it balances my rifle out perfectly .

The stock you need for your Precision Black Rifle Build
Very happy with the stock. Super tight tolerances with smooth action on all moving points. Modular attachment points and great design. Helps to balance out the 24" barrel on a AR10. Recommend to anyone looking for a stock that performs as good as it looks. Looking forward to adjustable cheek riser and matching front end.
