I installed a DPMS pin in my Matrix Aerospace 7.62 receiver, and it did not fit properly. The threads did not seat fully, and a portion of the head broke off as I tightened it. I installed the JL Billet pin and it worked as it should. The pin is made of better materials, and can even take a bit of torque without fear of stripping or the head shearing.

Solid with perfect fit. I stripped a standard steel phosphate catch pin when trying to build a Tactical Machining 80% lower. This one went straight through the rough spot without a problem. Wish I had started with a JL Billet lower as they are spot on with their dimensions.

My last Dpms pin crimbued and took a long time to remove the broken piece from my Bushmaster 308 ORC. I wanted to replace it with a good, quality part. That is exactly what I got from jlbillet. The bolt catch pin is made of high-quality stainless steel and doesn't seem like it will rust or break.

Better than OEM. Screwed in nice and smooth and no worries about it breaking like the factory items have been known to do.

Perfect fit for my DPMS style 308 lower.

Pin would not fit in my AR-15 it is to big. I needed 4-40 threads. Product is 5-32 **You are incorrect, the product is a 6-32 and it states that on the item page. It is designed to fit our lowers or a modified lower that has been tapped to 6-32.

Exactly as described. Fit my 80%arms 308 lower perfectly.

Not much to say. Small part that works as it should! Threads are strong which is important to me.

I was working on an ar10 aero precision. 308 rifle build. The factory pin was seized up in the lower when I received it. Ended up stripping the Allen head out trying to get it out. Called aero precision and they sent me a new one. Once received I tried installing it and wouldn't thread in all the way. It stayed sticking out and looked stupid. I ordered 2 from JLBillet. Perfect fit. Fits flush and even with the receiver like it should! Better fit than aero precisions' own parts. I couldn't be happier! Thanks JLBILLET!!!
