    Perfect Fit

Better than OEM. Screwed in nice and smooth and no worries about it breaking like the factory items have been known to do.

    Did not fit AR-15

Posted by Unknown on 25th May 2016

Pin would not fit in my AR-15 it is to big. I needed 4-40 threads. Product is 5-32 **You are incorrect, the product is a 6-32 and it states that on the item page. It is designed to fit our lowers or a modified lower that has been tapped to 6-32.

Not much to say. Small part that works as it should! Threads are strong which is important to me.

    Perfect fit!!!

I was working on an ar10 aero precision. 308 rifle build. The factory pin was seized up in the lower when I received it. Ended up stripping the Allen head out trying to get it out. Called aero precision and they sent me a new one. Once received I tried installing it and wouldn't thread in all the way. It stayed sticking out and looked stupid. I ordered 2 from JLBillet. Perfect fit. Fits flush and even with the receiver like it should! Better fit than aero precisions' own parts. I couldn't be happier! Thanks JLBILLET!!!

    Worked Perfect

Once i drilled and tapped the hole in the receiver install was simple. Little red loc tite to ensure it doesn't back out. Next time i may not thread all the way though to give a little shoulder for the set screw to tighten up against. My own mistake. fit and finish is great, similar to ones ive paid over 5 bucks each for. those wanting to convert a stander receiver to use this you will need a long shank #35 or 7/64ths drill (i used a 6 inch 7/64ths) and preferably a 6 inch 6-32 TAP (ordered mine from midway). you need the clearance because of how close the hole is to the receiver. Remember to use some kind of cutting fluid or lube, the material is thin, go slow you don't want to break an ear off.
