Great Handguard! It is very solid once installed, I was pretty surprised at how sturdy this is. The shape is good, I was very pleasantly surprised, especially with how well the top cover locks on with the gas tube. Cant go wrong here.

I was lucky enough to snag their last one (for now). I no I switched from the classic hand guard, to Magpul & finally JL Billet. The first two were awful for heat mitigation. The build quality of JL Billet is fantastic, and the fit was perfect. I didn't have an issue with the brackets being too long like the other reviewer, I suspect that's more of a QC issue on PSA's side than JL Billet's. At any rate, I'm very pleased & am now a big fan of their products/work.

I love the bottom handguard! Installation was very simple. The top section however was too long to fit into the brackets on my gas tube which doesn't bother me because I had already decided on going with an ultimak gas tube replacement. My rifle is a PSA GF3 AK47.

The JL Billet AK Rail Long is definitely a quality, well made product. It is sturdy, looks great, and feels like a quality piece that will last a lifetime. Installing on a Palmetto State Armory PSAK47 Gen 3, the bottom section (handguard) fit fine, but the top piece (gas tube cover) required a fair amount of filing to get it to fit. There is no such thing as MIL-SPEC or "one size fits all" when it comes to AKs so this wasn't the end of the world, but it was a PITA. Well worth it, though.
