JL Billet .308 17.2" Angle Cut Free Float M-Lok Handguard
The 17.2" continuous top 1913 Picatinny rail allows you to mount iron sights, optics and any other accessories without additional rail sections. The handguard is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and finished with an optional Mil-Spec type III hard coat black anodizing. The Magpul M-Lok system allows users to customize the handguard with rail sections and direct mount accessories.
The MLA has a precision bore to fit the proprietary barrel nut which removes any unwanted play and ensures an exact fit!! Installation requires a 1-5/16" Crows Foot wrench (not included) for the barrel nut; standard AR-10 barrel nut wrenches will not work with this hand guard system. These rails are some of the lightest you will find anywhere!

The best looking .308 hand guard on the market
Paired the 17.2 " Angle Cut High Profile Mlok Handguard with the Contrast Cut Modular Buttstock and Titanium VPR Muzzle Brake for a completely awesome look,feel, and function. One of the lightest hand guards available, with smooth edges and a comfortable feel in the hand. I did have to ever so slightly modify the barrel nut to install the gas tube, otherwise, fitment is good. The top rails lined up perfectly. Anodized finish is smooth and even. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase of this hand guard.

17.2 for my Armalite
Just put this on my AR10 .22-250 upper and love it. Machining, fit & finish is top notch. I very much like the design and low weight. I use this upper for prairie dog blasting so the barrel should benefit from the cooling airflow this hand guard provides. Very easy install and solid. These guys shipped fast. I ordered on Wed. and received the following Mon. Was going to put a MOE on my .308 carbine upper but am now rethinking.

You can see and feel the quality right off the bat. Very well made and looks awesome. Shipping was very fast and hassle free. I purchased the high profile for my DPMS LR-308. The high profile is still not high enough to line up correctly with the fixed rail on the upper like I planned. It sits about 3/4" lower. However, with my scope I needed the rail to sit lower so it worked out fine for me. Over all it is an awesome look and I will definitely be using these on future builds.

Great, Lightweight, Beast Looking 17" Handguard on the market
While at a local gun show looking for components for my LR-308 build, I ran across the JL Billet 17.2" Angle Cut Handguard. I had to have it. After taking advantage of a Holiday discount and a brief wait, I was able to get and install it. Top notch Quality - all edges are smooth and without snags. The supplied barrel nut and handguard are an awesome fit. Tolerances are extremely tight. The extra attention to detail is great. A pair of HELICOIL's are used to ensure less chance of thread stripping in the aluminum. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the product and customer service.
