JL Billet Variable Port Recoil-Reduction Muzzle Brake - 5.56/.223 Cal V.P.R.
Our V.P.R. muzzle brakes are designed with varying degree port angles to redirect the gases out and up to reduce felt recoil as well as reduce the muzzle rise. We 5-axis CNC machine these from 303 stainless steel to get the proper port angles. The port angles start with a 15 degree back angle and decrease as the gases dissipate moving forward. This provides the shooter with a smooth feeling recoil reduction. 1/2-28 threads.

Very nice sticking out of a 15 inch handguard on a 14.5 inch barrel, thank you for giving me the idea from one of your show pieces at Shot Show. I'm very pleased it's Unique.

5.56 Muzzle Brake
This is my 2nd muzzle brake that I have ordered when I build my AR's I use all top end parts right down to the springs & pins. I've fired the 1st rifle with this same muzzle brake & it is extremely flat shooting. The workmanship is done with great detail. I've called JL Billet & stoped at your booths at shows everyone, every-time has been great to talk with & even helped me with some deeper understanding about the designs of this & other products you have. There Are A Lot Of Brakes On The Market
And I think I've tried quite a few of them by now. But after I discovered the JL Billet, I changed out several on my various rifles. Simply the best as far as recoil reduction and good looks on the end of your barrel. Got to get a few more as the funds come available

The best brake I have ever run.
This is by far the best brake I have ever felt and ran. Rifle stays dead flat even when firing rapidly. Very minimal recoil. Workmanship is top notch and I must say I looks pretty damn cool as well. This brake is the best of both, form and function. Very pleased with my purchace. Highly recommend.
