JL Billet Force Alignment AK Rail

After years of development JL Billet is proud to introduce the FA-AKR as a "drop-in" replacement for standard AK furniture.

The design, features a unique interlocking system to force the top rail into a repeatable position suitable for mounting optics.

This patented design eliminates the need for barrel clamps or direct mounting optics to gas tubes. Installs easily, quickly and boasting excellent heat dissipation and repeatability. This rail will fit most stamped AK receivers as is.

Really transformed my Ak platform from being dull to elegant within a matter of mins! Super easy installation. Only one complaint on the rail is the screws that hold the gas block are on the shorter side and they stripped out easily. Replaced the screws with a longer 8/32 after communicating with JL billet and now its perfect!

Good hand guard and rail. Was able to fit it to a PSA AK-105. Solid fit. Took some effort to adjust set screws for a tight fit, but it wasn't difficult. Had a hard time getting the gas tube locked down. Had to tap it with a mallet.

It too me a few minutes to manage the adjustment’s, to fit on my Romainian version. But it was worth it. Trial and error break downs. Turning set screws. Mostly, removing tension on the lower half of the long rail. To allow for fit, when reinstalling my gas tube. Very well made product. Looks and feels fantastic.

Sick looking once finessed and mounted perm

Like many other AK handguards it took a bit of “massaging” to get mounted right. W a dremel or better tooling you can make adjustments where needed. I used this on a new PSA AKP and it came out sick. However besides what I listed above, we had to do some mill work to fit any decent size brake due to this particular weapons barrel thread pitch being 24x1.5... when done it came out to be one of the best looking AK’s I’ve personally seen :)

The bottom goes on pretty easy. Lots of space and you can really get a good, straight support arm grip. Top rail can be a bit tricky. I wasn’t able to get the gas tube latch down the normal way. I had to go all the way around clockwise to get it to fit. Scratched up the side of the rail a little but nothing a little touch up couldn’t fix. This is exactly what I needed for the Ak74
