JL Billet 13.1" AR15 MLA Free-Float M-Lok Angled Handguard
The continuous top rail allows you to mount iron sights, optics and any other accessories without additional rail sections. The Magpul M-Lok system allows users to customize the handguard with rail sections and direct mount accessories. The handguard is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and has an optional finish with a Mil-Spec type III hard coat black anodizing, see check box below to add hard anodize.
The MLA has a precision bore to fit the proprietary barrel nut which removes any unwanted play and ensures an exact fit!! Installation requires a 1-1/8" Crows Foot wrench (not included) for the barrel nut; standard AR-15 barrel nut wrenches will not work with this handguard system. The handguard is secured to the barrel nut by 2 10/32 allen screws, stainless steel key seat lock, and anti-slip helicoils.

Very pleased
This is my first Ar-15 build, but unlike others I don't want 5 different guns- but one gun, all with the best parts possible at each level. I don't know how other billet brands stack up against JL, but I do know that what I received was one of the finest parts just by the way it feels in the hand. Incredible craftsmanship and quality. Extremely lightweight for what it is. I remember shooting several other friends AR's and have to say this handguard blows theirs away. Only negative I can come up with would be the look of where the handguard meets the upper receiver. Quite a large difference in diameter between the two, but I'm ok with it. Ultimately I might transition the entire build into a JL Billet matched receiver set, to clean up those lines, but hard to justify for the price. Overall, very happy with the handguard, and will definitely buy from JL Billet again in the future, if ever the need should arise.

Very nice and easy to install
The thing I like the most from the install side is the barrel nut there is no need to line up the hole for the gas tube just torque down and go. Very nice finnish and machining. Great rail

As advertised... or better
Just got the 13" angled m lok handguard in. Shipping was very fast. Thing is awesome looking and unbelievably light in the hand. Looking forward to getting it on my rifle. Had one very small spot that appears to be chipped down to metal, but other than that, its phenominal.

Everything that was promised
I was looking to downsize my quad rail for a lower profile rail system. The 13" JL Billet M-Lok rail was the perfect answer. I looked around for 6 months and compared every rail imaginable. JL was the best option for me. It was extremely simple to install and JL customer service was very helpful in providing me information before my purchase.

worth every penny!
Absolutely love this handguard! Extremely light and looks perfect on a 16" barrel. Fit and finnish is sport on. Will buy again for future builds. Just an FYI if you don't own a 1-1/8 crowfoot , don't buy Sunex. They are too thick to fit in the groves of the barrel nut.
